Xiaomi Mi 11 is much better than the Huawei Mate 9, getting a general score of 88.8 against 73.4. Xiaomi Mi 11's construction is newer than the Huawei Mate 9's, but it's just a little thicker and just a bit heavier. Xiaomi Mi 11 features a much sharper screen than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a much better resolution of 1440 x 3200, a better pixel density and a bigger display.
Huawei Mate 9 features a bit bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 11, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB.
