Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 has an overall score of 83.2, which is much better than Huawei Mate 9's score of 73.4. The Xiaomi Mi 9 design is newer, a bit thinner and just a little lighter than Huawei Mate 9. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a bit faster processor than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen, a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bit bigger display. The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a very superior camera than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a much higher resolution camera, a much larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a larger diafragm aperture.
The Huawei Mate 9 counts with a bit more storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei Mate 9 has longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 21 percent greater battery capacity.
