Xiaomi Mi 9T is better than Huawei Mate 9, getting a score of 82.2 against 73.4. The Xiaomi Mi 9T design is newer, but thicker and a little heavier than Huawei Mate 9. Huawei Mate 9 has just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 9T, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T has a bit more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a bit greater pixels number per inch of display, a little larger screen and a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution. Xiaomi Mi 9T takes much clearer photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a larger diafragm aperture, a way larger sensor shooting much better quality photos and a much better 48 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
Huawei Mate 9 counts with a bit bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 9T's battery life is very similar to the battery lifetime in Huawei Mate 9.
