Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is much better than Huawei Mate 9, with a score of 82.7 against 73.4. The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro body is newer than Huawei Mate 9's, but it's just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker. Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro counts with a little faster processor than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution, a quite bigger display and a just a bit better pixel density. The Huawei Mate 9 has slightly more storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro captures way better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro also has a larger aperture to capture better photos and video in poorly lited environments, a lot bigger sensor providing a way better image quality and a much more megapixels back facing camera.
