Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi A2 is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 9, with a general score of 78 against 73.4. Xiaomi Mi A2's construction is newer, lighter and a little thinner than the Huawei Mate 9. The Huawei Mate 9 features a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi A2, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Mi A2 features just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a little better screen pixels density, a slightly higher 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and a little bigger screen. Huawei Mate 9 has a bit bigger storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi A2, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 features a very superior camera than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same (4K) video resolution, a same size sensor and a 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera, the Xiaomi Mi A2 also has a bigger aperture for better images in poorly lited situations.
Huawei Mate 9 has better battery life than Xiaomi Mi A2, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3010mAh.
