Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 9, with a general score of 77.5 against 73.4. Xiaomi Mi Max's body is a little heavier but just a bit thinner than Huawei Mate 9, and they were only released with a couple months difference. Huawei Mate 9 has just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor.
The Huawei Mate 9 counts with a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920px resolution, the Huawei Mate 9 also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch. The Xiaomi Mi Max shoots greater photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a way more mega pixels camera in the back and a bigger aperture for better low-light images and video.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 256 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max has superior battery performance than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a 4850mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
