Comparison review
Huawei Mate 8 is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate S, with a 77.4 score against 75.3. Even being the best in our current comparison, we must note that it is also a heavier and a little bit thicker phone. Huawei Mate 8 features just a little better performance than Huawei Mate S, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 8 also has more RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate S counts with a little sharper display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Huawei Mate S also counts with a just a little greater pixels density. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate S, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Huawei Mate 8 also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
Huawei Mate 8 has a much longer battery performance than Huawei Mate S, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh. Huawei Mate 8 has a bit better camera than Huawei Mate S, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and a F2 camera aperture, the Huawei Mate 8 also has better video frame rate and a higher 16 MP resolution back camera.
