Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is much better than the Huawei Mate S's global score of 75.3. Even though the Huawei P40 is incredibly newer than the Huawei Mate S, it's somewhat thicker and heavier. Huawei P40 has a little bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate S, because it has a bit more pixels per display inch, a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bit bigger screen.
The Huawei P40's storage to install applications and games is very similar to the Huawei Mate S one, both have equal internal memory. The Huawei P40 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Huawei Mate S, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Huawei P40 features a lot better camera than Huawei Mate S, because it has a back camera with a lot better resolution, a way bigger camera sensor which offers a much better photo and video quality, a bigger aperture to take better captures and videos in low light situations and a much better (4K) video resolution.
Huawei P40 features a way better battery performance than Huawei Mate S, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity.
