Comparison review
Huawei P40 Lite is just a bit better than Huawei Mate S, having a general score of 79.5 against 75.3. Huawei P40 Lite is a newer phone than the Huawei Mate S, but it's somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. The Huawei P40 Lite features a bit faster processor than Huawei Mate S, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei P40 Lite counts with a slightly better display than Huawei Mate S, because although it has a little worse quantity of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a bigger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2310px resolution. Huawei P40 Lite shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate S, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor, a larger diafragm aperture and a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution camera.
The Huawei P40 Lite counts with as much storage to store more apps and games as the Huawei Mate S, both have exactly the same internal memory capacity. Huawei P40 Lite has a way better battery performance than Huawei Mate S, because it has a 56% greater battery size.
