Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is much better than Huawei Mate S, having an 88.2 score against 75.3. Huawei P40 Pro's design is a lot newer than Huawei Mate S's, although it's somewhat thicker and heavier. Huawei P40 Pro counts with just a bit better looking display than Huawei Mate S, because it has a just a little greater pixel density, a better 1200 x 2640 resolution and a bigger display.
The Huawei P40 Pro's storage for apps and games is just as good as Huawei Mate S's one, both have the same internal storage capacity. The Huawei P40 Pro has a little faster CPU than Huawei Mate S, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Huawei P40 Pro features a greater camera than Huawei Mate S, because it has a bigger aperture, a way bigger sensor, a back facing camera with a much higher 50 mega-pixels resolution and a way higher (4K) video quality. Huawei P40 Pro has a much better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate S, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 2700mAh.
