Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 is much better than the Huawei Mate S, getting an 85 score against 75.3. Galaxy M40's design is noticeably newer than Huawei Mate S's, but it's just a little heavier and a little bit thicker. Samsung Galaxy M40's processing unit is just as good as the processing unit in Huawei Mate S, and although the Samsung Galaxy M40 has a higher amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate S, because it has a just a little better amount of pixels in each inch in the display, a quite larger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340. Galaxy M40 features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate S, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy M40 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy M40 has a much better camera than Huawei Mate S, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor which gives a lower image and video quality, it also counts with a much more megapixels back facing camera, a bigger camera aperture and a much better (4K) video resolution. The Samsung Galaxy M40 has greater battery lifetime than Huawei Mate S, because it has a 3500mAh battery size.
