Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a general score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate S's overall score of 75.3. Even though the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is newer than the Huawei Mate S, it is noticeably heavier and a little bit thicker. Huawei Mate S counts with a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Huawei Mate S counts with a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Huawei Mate S also counts with a just a bit higher pixel count per inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a way bigger storage to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate S, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much longer battery duration than Huawei Mate S, because it has a 96 percent bigger battery size. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a bit better camera than Huawei Mate S, because although it has a smaller camera sensor offering a worse image quality, a tinier camera aperture and a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a lot better video definition.
