Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a general score of 75.8, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate S's 75.3 general score. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is extremely newer than the Huawei Mate S, it's heavier and thicker. The Huawei Mate S has a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a screen that's just as good as the display in Huawei Mate S, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a little bigger display, a slightly higher 1080 x 2160px resolution and a just a little better screen density. The Huawei Mate S features slightly more memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
