Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X is much better than Asus ROG Phone 8, with a general score of 89.4 against 79.5. Both devices in this comparison work with Android OS, but Huawei Mate X has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14. Despite being the best in our current comparison, we must highlight that it's also a noticeably older, somewhat thicker and incredibly heavier phone.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a better looking screen than Huawei Mate X, although it has a little bit worse pixels density, a bit smaller screen and a way worse 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Huawei Mate X counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games than Asus ROG Phone 8, because it has 512 GB internal storage.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a lot better hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has greater battery duration than Huawei Mate X, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and video, it also counts with a better 50 megapixels resolution camera and a bigger sensor which provides a better image and video quality.
