Huawei Mate X has a global score of 89.4, which is better than the Google Pixel's 80.2 overall score. Huawei Mate X's construction is noticeably newer, but heavier and way thicker than Google Pixel. The Huawei Mate X features a little better processing power than Google Pixel, because it has a larger number of cores (and faster) and 4 GB more RAM.
Huawei Mate X has a bit sharper display than Google Pixel, because although it has a quite worse pixels count in each inch of screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 2200 x 2480 and a lot bigger screen. The Google Pixel takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for taking images and videos in low-light environments, a back-facing camera with way less megapixels resolution and a much smaller back-facing camera sensor taking less light and washed colors.
Huawei Mate X features much more memory to install applications and games than Google Pixel, because it has 384 GB more internal storage. The Huawei Mate X has a really longer battery duration than Google Pixel, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, else you can save some dollars and buy the Google Pixel, giving up some specifications.
