Huawei Mate X has an overall score of 89.4, which is much better than the Google Pixel 3's score of 80. Huawei Mate X's design is newer than Google Pixel 3's, but it's way heavier and way thicker. Google Pixel 3 and Huawei Mate X both have really similar screens, because although the Google Pixel 3 has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel density.
The Huawei Mate X features a bit superior CPU than Google Pixel 3, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate X also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate X counts with a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Google Pixel 3, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate X features a much better battery life than Google Pixel 3, because it has a 54% larger battery size. Google Pixel 3 has a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a back-facing camera with much less mega-pixels and a way tinier sensor which provides a way lower photo and video quality, they both have a same size camera aperture.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, else you can save some money and get the Google Pixel 3, giving up a couple features and specifications.
