Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a bit better looking display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels, it also counts with a greater screen density. The Huawei Mate X counts with a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has 512 GB internal storage.
Google Pixel 4 XL shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a much tinier back camera sensor shooting way lower quality videos and pictures and a lot less MP back facing camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture. The Huawei Mate X features longer battery life than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3700mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 4 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 4 XL. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Google Pixel 4 XL, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
