Huawei Mate X has an overall score of 89.4, which is better than HTC U Ultra's 77 global score. Although Huawei Mate X is extremely newer than the HTC U Ultra, it's incredibly heavier and notably thicker. The Huawei Mate X has a bit faster CPU than HTC U Ultra, because it has 4 more cores and more RAM.
The HTC U Ultra features a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a really smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better quantity of pixels per inch of display. The Huawei Mate X features a superior storage capacity for applications and games than HTC U Ultra, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.
The Huawei Mate X has a really longer battery lifetime than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 50 percent larger battery size. The HTC U Ultra captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a lot tinier camera sensor shooting much worse quality photos and a camera in the back with a way worse 12 mega pixels resolution, they both have a F1.8 aperture.

So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the HTC U Ultra, giving up some features and specs.
