The Huawei Mate X has a score of 89.4, which is much better than HTC U11's 77.6 global score. The Huawei Mate X design is notably newer, but extremely thicker and noticeably heavier than the HTC U11. Huawei Mate X has a bit better processor than HTC U11, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate X also has 4 GB more RAM.
HTC U11 counts with a slightly better looking display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a little bit worse 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a higher screen density. Huawei Mate X has much more memory for games and applications than HTC U11, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage.
Huawei Mate X counts with a much longer battery performance than HTC U11, because it has a 50% bigger battery capacity. The HTC U11 counts with a bit better camera than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a lot worse resolution back-facing camera and a way smaller back-facing camera sensor, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC U11. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, else you can save some dollars and get the HTC U11, giving up some features and specs.
