Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X is much better than Huawei Mate 20, with an 89.4 score against 79.5. Huawei Mate X's body is newer, but extremely thicker and extremely heavier than Huawei Mate 20. These phones have the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system), so they should provide the user identical operating system features.
Huawei Mate X has a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate X also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate 20 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate X, although it has a quite smaller display, a just a little lower pixels density and a way lower 1080 x 2244 resolution.
The Huawei Mate 20 takes better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a way worse 12 mega-pixels resolution camera and a much tinier sensor offering a lot lower image quality, they both have a same size aperture. Huawei Mate X counts with a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity.
Huawei Mate X has a little better battery duration than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei Mate 20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei Mate 20. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Huawei Mate 20, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
