Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X is slightly better than Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, getting an 89.4 score against 82.7. Even though the Huawei Mate X is notably newer than Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, it's way heavier and thicker. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate X has newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Huawei Mate X features a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate X also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design counts with a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a way smaller display and a bit worse 1440 x 2560px resolution, it also counts with a greater pixel count in each inch in the display.
The Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design features a bit better camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light images and video, a way smaller back-facing camera sensor providing a way worse image quality and a lot less mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
