Comparison review
Huawei Mate X is better than the LG G5, having an 89.4 score against 76.1. Huawei Mate X's design is notably newer, but a lot thicker and much heavier than LG G5. Both phones we are comparing have Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo, so it counts with some extra features.
The LG G5 counts with a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a way smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels density. Huawei Mate X counts with just a bit better performance than LG G5, because it has 4 more cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
The LG G5 captures better videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a way tinier camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors and a camera with a lot lower 16 MP resolution, they both have a same size diafragm aperture. The Huawei Mate X has a much better storage to install games and applications than LG G5, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Huawei Mate X has a superior battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G5. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the LG G5, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
