Comparison review

The Huawei Mate X is just a bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ, getting a general score of 89.4 against 84.3. These phones use the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any differences regarding that. Huawei Mate X's body is notably heavier and extremely thicker than the LG G8 ThinQ.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much better looking display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a higher count of pixels per display inch. The LG G8 ThinQ features a bit more powerful processor than Huawei Mate X, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.

LG G8 ThinQ has a superior camera than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a lot less MP resolution back-facing camera and a way smaller back camera sensor taking way worse quality videos and pictures, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better low-light images and video. Huawei Mate X has a slightly bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory.

The Huawei Mate X has superior battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G8 ThinQ. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get LG G8 ThinQ, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
