Huawei Mate X is just a bit better than the LG G8X ThinQ, getting an 89.4 score against 82.7. These devices use Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X has a newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10 version, so it provides some nice extra features and performance tweaks. The Huawei Mate X construction is incredibly thicker and way heavier than LG G8X ThinQ.
The LG G8X ThinQ features a little better processing power than Huawei Mate X, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Huawei Mate X has a little more vivid screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a lot better 2200 x 2480px resolution, a just a bit better screen density and a larger display.
The Huawei Mate X features slightly more storage capacity for applications and games than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The LG G8X ThinQ takes much better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a much tinier camera sensor and a much less mega pixels resolution camera in the back, they both have a same size aperture.
Huawei Mate X features a little better battery duration than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G8X ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, else you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G8X ThinQ, letting go a couple features and specifications.
