Despite being the best in this comparison review, we must tell that it's also an older, notably thicker and heavier phone. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate X has newer 9.0 Pie version and Microsoft Surface Duo has Android 10 version, so it gives some additional features.
Huawei Mate X counts with a little more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels number in each screen inch and a bit higher resolution of 2200 x 2480. Huawei Mate X has a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has more internal memory.
Microsoft Surface Duo features just a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate X, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Huawei Mate X takes slightly better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has a larger camera aperture for better low light images and a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
The Huawei Mate X counts with longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than Microsoft Surface Duo, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Microsoft Surface Duo. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Microsoft Surface Duo, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
