Huawei Mate X is much better than Samsung Galaxy A21, getting a global score of 89.4 against 76.1. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate X has newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy A21 has Android 10 version, so it offers a lot of extra features and increased performance. The Huawei Mate X design is noticeably thicker and a lot heavier than the Samsung Galaxy A21.
Huawei Mate X has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A21, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate X also has a greater amount of RAM. Huawei Mate X has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A21, because it has a lot more pixels per display inch, a larger display and a much higher resolution of 2200 x 2480px.
Galaxy A21 has a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a back facing camera with a way lower resolution and a way smaller back camera sensor which offers a lot worse image and video quality, they both have a same size aperture. The Huawei Mate X counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Galaxy A21, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a bit longer battery life than Galaxy A21, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy A21, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy A21. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate X, else you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy A21, giving up a couple specifications.
