Huawei Mate X features a very superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy A6, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. The Huawei Mate X counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy A6, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate X also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Huawei Mate X counts with a way better battery duration than Galaxy A6, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh. Galaxy A6 captures a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a much tinier back-facing camera sensor and a lot less mega pixels resolution camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better photography and video in poorly lited environments.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy A6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy A6. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy A6, giving up a couple specs and features.
