Comparison review
Huawei Mate X is a bit better than Galaxy A71, getting a general score of 89.4 against 87.5. Huawei Mate X's construction is a lot heavier and thicker than the Galaxy A71. These phones use Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy A71 has Android 11, so it gives a couple additional features and a performance increase.
Huawei Mate X features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A71, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate X also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate X features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A71, because it has a little more pixels per inch in the display, a larger screen and a way higher resolution of 2200 x 2480.
Samsung Galaxy A71 shoots a lot better videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same back-facing camera sensor size, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a back facing camera with a lot higher 64 megapixels resolution. The Huawei Mate X counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy A71, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 384 GB more internal memory.
Galaxy A71's battery life is just as good as the battery performance in Huawei Mate X.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A71. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy A71, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
