Huawei Mate X is better than Galaxy M20, with an 89.4 score against 78.9. The Huawei Mate X design is newer, but somewhat thicker and heavier than Galaxy M20. Both of these phones have Android OS, but the Huawei Mate X has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy M20 has Android 10 version. Huawei Mate X has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M20, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate X also has a larger amount of RAM.
Huawei Mate X has a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy M20, because it has a bigger display, a just a bit greater screen density and a much higher resolution of 2200 x 2480px. The Huawei Mate X counts with a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy M20, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy M20 and Huawei Mate X both feature extremely similar cameras, although the Galaxy M20 has a camera with much less mega pixels, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting pictures and/or video in low light environments and a lot tinier sensor shooting way worse quality photographs.
The Samsung Galaxy M20 features a little better battery life than Huawei Mate X, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 4500mAh.
