Comparison review
Huawei Mate X has a global score of 89.4, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4's 81.6 global score. Huawei Mate X is a much newer phone than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but it is a lot heavier and extremely thicker. Both devices in this comparison include Android OS, but Huawei Mate X has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has Android 5.0 version, so it provides a couple additional features.
The Galaxy Note 4's CPU is just as good as Huawei Mate X's processor, because although the Galaxy Note 4 has a smaller amount of RAM memory and 4 less cpu cores , it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Galaxy Note 4 features a more vivid display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a much smaller screen and a little worse 2560 x 1440 resolution, it also counts with a bit greater screen pixels density.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a superior camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting photographs and videos in low-light environments, a much tinier sensor capturing way lower quality photos and videos and a much worse 16 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate X counts with a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3220mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Note 4. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy Note 4, giving up some specs and features.
