Comparison review
Huawei Mate X has a score of 89.4, which is better than the Galaxy Note 5's global score of 79.3. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X has newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1 version, providing you some additional features and performance improvements. The Huawei Mate X body is notably newer than Galaxy Note 5's, but it's much heavier and much thicker.
Huawei Mate X counts with a greater hardware performance than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 4 GB more RAM memory and a greater number of cores. The Galaxy Note 5 has a sharper display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440px, it also counts with a just a bit better screen pixels density.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a much better camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing images and/or video in low-light environments, a much worse 16 megapixels resolution back camera and a lot tinier sensor. The Huawei Mate X features much more storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 448 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Note 5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Note 5, giving up some features and specs.
