Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X is better than Galaxy S4, with a general score of 89.4 against 79. The Huawei Mate X design is a lot newer than the Galaxy S4's, but it's noticeably thicker and noticeably heavier. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version, providing you lots of additional features and better performance.
The Huawei Mate X counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with 6 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and they are faster). Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy S4 has a camera that is just as good as the camera in Huawei Mate X, although the Galaxy S4 has a lot less mega-pixels back camera, a much smaller back camera sensor offering a much worse image quality and a tinier aperture. The Huawei Mate X features a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy S4, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Huawei Mate X features a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a 73% bigger battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S4. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy S4, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
