Huawei Mate X is better than Galaxy S7 edge, getting a overall score of 89.4 against 78.1. The Huawei Mate X design is incredibly newer, but extremely heavier and thicker than Galaxy S7 edge. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X has 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Huawei Mate X counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a higher number of faster cores and 4 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has a bit better display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a little worse 1440 x 2560 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display.
Galaxy S7 edge captures clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a lot tinier camera sensor taking way worse quality videos and photographs and a back-facing camera with way less MP, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better captures in low-light environments. Huawei Mate X features a much greater storage for games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
Huawei Mate X has greater battery lifetime than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, resigning some features and specifications.
