Comparison review
Huawei Mate X is just a bit better than the Galaxy S9, with a overall score of 89.4 against 83.3. Although Huawei Mate X is newer than the Galaxy S9, it is thicker and notably heavier. The Galaxy S9 has a processing unit that is just as good as the CPU in Huawei Mate X, and although the Galaxy S9 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Galaxy S9 features a bit better looking display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a bit worse 1440 x 2960 resolution and a much smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy S9 captures much clearer photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a lot tinier camera sensor and a back facing camera with way less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture.
The Huawei Mate X has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage. Huawei Mate X features a much better battery duration than Galaxy S9, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S9. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Samsung Galaxy S9, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
