Huawei Mate X is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, getting an 89.4 score against 85.6. The Huawei Mate X is an older, notably thicker and heavier device than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate X has newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has Android 11 version, offering a couple nice extra features.
Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a display that's just as good as Huawei Mate X's display, because although the Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a lot lower 1080 x 2636 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels amount in each inch in the display. Huawei Mate X has a better camera than Galaxy Z Flip 3, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Huawei Mate X also has a way higher 40 mega-pixels resolution back camera.

Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Z Flip 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Z Flip 3. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy Z Flip 3, letting go a couple features and specifications.
