Comparison review
Huawei Mate X has a global score of 89.4, which is better than the Sony Xperia XZ Premium's overall score of 79.8. Although Huawei Mate X is a lot newer than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, it's notably thicker and incredibly heavier. Xperia XZ Premium counts with a much sharper screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 and a lot greater screen pixel density.
Huawei Mate X features a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. Huawei Mate X features a little better processing power than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate X also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ Premium shoots much better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a lot tinier sensor, a tinier aperture which is not good for low-light captures and a back-facing camera with much less MP resolution. Huawei Mate X has a much better battery life than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 39% larger battery size.
