The Huawei Mate X has a score of 89.4, which is much better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX's global score of 76.2. Huawei Mate X's design is extremely newer, but extremely thicker and a lot heavier than Xiaomi Mi MIX. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate X has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi MIX has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Huawei Mate X features a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and faster). Xiaomi Mi MIX has a display that's very similar to the Huawei Mate X one, although the Xiaomi Mi MIX has a way smaller display, a just a bit less pixels per screen inch and a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2040 pixels.
Huawei Mate X counts with a superior storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has 384 GB more internal storage. Xiaomi Mi MIX shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a way less megapixels back camera, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing images and/or video in low-light situations and a lot smaller sensor capturing lot worse quality videos and photos.
The Huawei Mate X features just a bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 4400mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi MIX. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX, letting go some specs and features.
