Huawei Mate X has a global score of 89.4, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's global score of 81.2. The Huawei Mate X is a notably newer phone than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, although it is noticeably heavier and incredibly thicker. Huawei Mate X has just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a bit better screen density, a lot higher 2200 x 2480 resolution and a much larger screen.
Huawei Mate X has just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate X also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 captures a bit better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a way less megapixels resolution camera, a much smaller back camera sensor which provides a lot lower image and video quality and a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and/or video in low-light environments.
Huawei Mate X has a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate X features better battery life than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei Mate X, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, giving up a couple specs and features.
