The Huawei Mate X has a global score of 89.4, which is much better than the Xiaomi Poco X2's global score of 79.3. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but Huawei Mate X has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Poco X2 has Android 11 version. Huawei Mate X's design is notably heavier and thicker than Xiaomi Poco X2.
The Huawei Mate X features a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Poco X2, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate X also has more RAM memory. Huawei Mate X counts with a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Poco X2, because it has a bit more pixels per inch in the display, a much better 2200 x 2480 pixels resolution and a bigger screen.
The Huawei Mate X has a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Poco X2, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Poco X2 takes much better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography, and they both have a 0.59 inches back-facing camera sensor, the Xiaomi Poco X2 also counts with a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
The Xiaomi Poco X2 features a battery lifetime that's just as good as the Huawei Mate X one.
