Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X2 is better than the Asus ROG Phone, having an 89.1 score against 77.1. Huawei Mate X2's body is extremely newer and a little thinner, but way heavier than the Asus ROG Phone. Asus ROG Phone features a little sharper display than Huawei Mate X2, although it has a really smaller display, a bit lower pixel quantity in each screen inch and a lot lower resolution of 1080 x 2160px.
The Huawei Mate X2 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Asus ROG Phone. They have 8 processing cores and the same RAM amount. The Asus ROG Phone has a very superior storage for games and applications than Huawei Mate X2, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate X2 has a bit superior battery performance than Asus ROG Phone, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
The Huawei Mate X2 takes much clearer photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone, although it has slower video frame rates and a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for taking photos and video in low light situations, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus ROG Phone, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus ROG Phone. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, otherwise you can save some money and get the Asus ROG Phone, resigning a couple specs and features.
