Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X2 is better than Huawei Mate 8, with an 89.1 score against 77.4. Huawei Mate X2's design is newer than the Huawei Mate 8's, although it is incredibly heavier and a little bit thicker. Huawei Mate X2 features a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a just a little more pixels per inch of display, a way bigger display and a lot better 2200 x 2480 resolution.
The Huawei Mate X2 features a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate X2 counts with a way better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a way higher 50 MP resolution back camera, a bigger aperture and a way higher (4K) video quality.
Huawei Mate X2 counts with a bit bigger memory to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a bit longer battery duration than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei Mate 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei Mate 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X2, else you can save some money and get the Huawei Mate 8, giving up some features and specs.
