Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X2 is a bit better than Huawei P30, with an 89.1 score against 81.7. Both phones in this review have the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect. Huawei Mate X2's construction is newer than Huawei P30's, but it's notably heavier and just a little bit thicker.
Huawei Mate X2 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Huawei P30, because although it has a bit lower pixel density, it also counts with a much better 2200 x 2480px resolution and a way bigger screen. The Huawei Mate X2 has much more storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei P30, because it has more internal memory.
Huawei Mate X2 has a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P30, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has more RAM. Huawei P30 features a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a worse (4K) video definition and a lesser mega-pixels back facing camera, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better low light captures and videos.
The Huawei Mate X2 features improved battery performance than Huawei P30, because it has a 23 percent bigger battery size.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei P30, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P30. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Huawei P30, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
