Comparison review

Huawei Mate X2 is just a bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ, having an 89.1 score against 84.3. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X2 has an older 10 version and LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. Even though the Huawei Mate X2 is extremely heavier than the LG G8 ThinQ, it's a bit thinner and also newer.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a better looking display than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a much smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 3120, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen. The Huawei Mate X2 has just a bit better processing power than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has 2 GB more RAM.

LG G8 ThinQ features a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Huawei Mate X2 features improved battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 29% greater battery size.

Huawei Mate X2 has a superior camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a much tinier aperture which is not nice for taking photos or videos in low light situations and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera.

Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G8 ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G8 ThinQ, giving up a couple features and specs.
