The Huawei Mate X2 is a little bit better than the LG V40 ThinQ, with an 89.1 score against 81.2. Both devices in this review have the same Android 10 OS, so both should provide the user all the same OS features. Huawei Mate X2's design is notably newer, but a little thicker and much heavier than LG V40 ThinQ.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a bit better display than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a little lower 1440 x 3120 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a greater count of pixels per inch of screen. Huawei Mate X2 has a bit superior processor than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a larger amount of RAM.

Huawei Mate X2 features a bit better camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has worse video frame rates and a lot tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting images and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more MP.

The LG V40 ThinQ has more storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate X2 has better battery life than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.

Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V40 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the LG V40 ThinQ, letting go a couple features and specs.
