Comparison review
Huawei Mate X2 is just a bit better than LG Velvet, with an 89.1 score against 87.1. The Huawei Mate X2 is a newer cellphone than LG Velvet, although it is a lot heavier and just a little thicker. Huawei Mate X2 counts with a bit more vivid screen than LG Velvet, because it has a way better resolution of 2200 x 2480, a bit greater quantity of pixels per display inch and a bigger display.
The Huawei Mate X2 has a little faster CPU than LG Velvet, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a higher amount of RAM. The LG Velvet has just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a worse 48 MP resolution back facing camera and a lower video definition, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light captures and video.
LG Velvet has a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a bit better battery performance than LG Velvet, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4300mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG Velvet, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG Velvet. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the LG Velvet, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
