Comparison review
Huawei Mate X2 has an overall score of 89.1, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A71's global score of 87.5. Huawei Mate X2 is a newer device than the Samsung Galaxy A71, although it is incredibly heavier and a bit thicker. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate X2 has the older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy A71 has Android 11 version.
Huawei Mate X2 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy A71, because it has a bigger screen, a just a little greater pixel count per inch in the display and a much higher resolution of 2200 x 2480px. The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy A71 has a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate X2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy A71 also has a camera in the back with a much better 64 mega-pixels resolution and a larger camera aperture. The Samsung Galaxy A71 features a slightly bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a battery life that is just as good as Huawei Mate X2's battery performance.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy A71, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy A71. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy A71, giving up some specifications.
