Huawei Mate X2 has a global score of 89.1, which is much better than Galaxy S4's 79 score. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate X2 has a newer 10 version while Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version. Even though the Huawei Mate X2 is noticeably newer than Galaxy S4, it's just a little thicker and notably heavier.
The Galaxy S4 counts with a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a very superior memory for apps and games than Galaxy S4, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
Huawei Mate X2 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and 4 more processing cores. Huawei Mate X2 counts with a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a much higher video quality, a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution and a larger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photos and video.
The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a really longer battery duration than Galaxy S4, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 2600mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S4. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S4, giving up a couple specifications.
