The Huawei Mate X2 is a bit better than Galaxy S6 Edge, getting a overall score of 89.1 against 85.7. Even though the Huawei Mate X2 is extremely newer than the Galaxy S6 Edge, it is extremely heavier and somewhat thicker. Both devices we compare here have Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X2 has newer 10 version and Galaxy S6 Edge has Android 5.0, so it gives you some extra features and increased performance.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has 5 GB less RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bits processor and an additional graphics co-processor. The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a little worse resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a much smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch.
Huawei Mate X2 has a very superior memory for applications and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has more internal storage. Huawei Mate X2 counts with a way better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a F1.9 camera aperture, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a back facing camera with way more mega pixels.
The Huawei Mate X2 features a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 73 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, letting go some specs and features.
