Huawei Mate X2 is better than the Samsung Galaxy S7, having a global score of 89.1 against 79.5. Although Huawei Mate X2 is noticeably newer than Samsung Galaxy S7, it is a lot heavier and just a little thicker. Galaxy S7 has a better screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a really smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1440 x 2560, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display.
The Huawei Mate X2 features a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S7, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory. The Huawei Mate X2 features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S7, because it has more cpu cores and more RAM.
The Huawei Mate X2 has a way better battery duration than Galaxy S7, because it has a 4500mAh battery size. The Huawei Mate X2 captures much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S7. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S7, giving up some specs and features.
