Comparison review
The Xperia 5 III is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate X2, getting a general score of 90.5 against 89.1. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia 5 III has a newer 11 version and Huawei Mate X2 has Android 10 version. Xperia 5 III's design has the same thickness than Huawei Mate X2, but it's noticeably lighter.
The Sony Xperia 5 III features a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. Huawei Mate X2 counts with a little better performance than Sony Xperia 5 III. Both of them have 8 CPU cores and a 8 GB RAM memory.
The Xperia 5 III counts with a way bigger memory for apps and games than Huawei Mate X2, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Xperia 5 III also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1 TB. Sony Xperia 5 III and Huawei Mate X2 count with quite similar batteries.
Huawei Mate X2 features a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia 5 III, because although it has worse video frame rates and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos and video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a lot higher 50 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
